Shona Taine , a young independent watchmaker from La Chaux-de-Gilley, uniquely combines literature, philosophy and a passion for watchmaking, born in Prague. Winner of several awards, including Best Apprentice in France, she founded her brand Khemea at the age of 22 with a dream: to create a chiming watch, reflecting her passion for music and mechanics.

Based at Olivier Mory, she created her first piece, Arkhea , an elegant timepiece incorporating a tourbillon, moon phases, a calendar and a power reserve, designed for all wrists. Determined to make her mark in a still masculine world, Shona forged her path with strength and ambition, in search of watchmaking complications dedicated to women, and a complete artistic expression of her expertise.
