Watchmaking journey with the GMT-3 Yellow World Tour from Vicenterra
Vincent Plomb, the daring founder of Vicenterra, has charted an unexpected path. A trained designer and builder, his career path led him from civil engineering to fashion, then to the design of molds for the injection of precision parts. In 2000, his growing interest in watchmaking led him to the design of watch exteriors. In 2003, he went freelance, collaborating behind the scenes on watch exterior and micromechanics projects, building an experience rich in encounters and human exchanges.
Alongside his mandates, Vincent brings his ideas for watch complications to life. After years of research and development, the first three-dimensional prototypes emerged in 2008, revealing the stars that punctuate our lives. In 2010, the "Earth Phase" complication took shape, along with other functions, and the Vicenterra brand was born.
Vincent defied convention by launching a fundraising campaign, meeting with enthusiasts and collectors to fund his brand. Success enabled the realization of his watchmaking vision with the delivery of the first hundred customers. Since then, with the help of local professionals, he has created exclusive timepieces, combining elegance, innovation, and originality. Vicenterra offers captivating watches, inviting everyone to travel "to the other side of the world" at every moment.
