Vicenterra's AstroLUNA Classic combines 3D Moon, Earth and Sun in gold, with accurate lunar phases for 126 years.
The AstroLUNA Classic symmetrically integrates the Moon in 3D with its big sister, the Earth, and its smaller golden Sun. Displaying perpetual moon phases with a rotation of one revolution every 29 days, 12 hours, and 45 minutes, it will remain accurate for 126 years.
"Satellites around the dial"
The Moon phases of astronomical precision The sphere is composed of a dark side and a light side on which a white Superluminova undercoat is applied. It is covered with lunar motifs by the talents of an artist specialized in miniature paintings. At night, a bluish luminescence replaces the white color and reveals the illuminated side of the Moon.
The Earth, the common thread of the Vicenterra collections, visual and three-dimensional GMT, Permanent Day / Night Its oceans and seas are also meticulously hand-painted. Thanks to the small solid gold sun - representing its zenith - and the 6 AM & 6 PM markers, you will be able to locate at a glance the geographical zones on Earth where it is noon, 6 AM, 6 PM, and night. These two stars are magnified by a starry galaxy in aventurine glass arranged in the background. Its dial sparkles with a thousand lights and floats above a complex mechanism discreetly revealed on its edge.
On the back, and in the same decor, appear the Earth, the Moon and the automatic movement of haute horlogerie from the house of Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. It is enhanced with the exclusive module developed by and for Vicenterra.
An elegant, so-called "contemporary" case in polished titanium with colors and reflections transcending the effects of light, integrates these poetic and mechanical complications. Two years of lunar travel were necessary to create this creation with its original design, while retaining the many subtleties that are unique to Vicenterra, such as the concave gouges on the sides of the case.
The contemporary AstroLUNA is also available in a version with an original classic round design.
Limited to 25 numbered copies, the AstroLUNA Classic will allow lucky buyers to enjoy a creation that is not only unique but also embodies all the Swiss know-how. The AstroLUNA Classic is designed in the Swiss Jura and manufactured by local artisans who are proud to bring it to life!
