The « 50-50 grind » version translates the visual language of skate culture into the world of fine watchmaking. Its cabochon crown is inspired by a cross-section of a skateboard deck-a cut revealing the different layers of maple and the grip tape-interpreted with the material precision characteristic of the SB10 family. Its name pays homage to the famous “50-50 grind” trick, one of the fundamentals of skateboarding, and each piece is individually numbered x/50-50. The Skateboard Museum in Geneva has been involved as a creative partner from the outset, not merely as a branding exercise, but as a guarantor of authenticity. Its curator oversaw every design decision to ensure the watch truly resonates with skateboarding purists, rather than simply appropriating an aesthetic.
