The celebration of beauty
A majestic display of hand-engraved feathers, spread over several levels of depth, offering a subtle play of shadows and a sense of organic movement. Each meticulously chiseled relief is then covered with successive layers of translucent enamel, revealing the smallest details of the motif in transparency. At the center of this composition, an enameled silver spangle flower blooms, delicately encircled by sparkling diamonds, as if suspended in a breath of light.
The work of superposition; between the different layers of enamel, the repeated firings at high temperatures, and the precise manual interventions; gives birth to a living picture, vibrant with tiny reflections. Each micro-stroke of the chisel, each engraving invisible to the naked eye, participates in the progressive opening of a rosette motif of extreme finesse. This hypnotic decoration, as technical as it is poetic, evokes a flight frozen in time, a lace of light frozen in the brilliance of deep blue.
Inside beats the heart of an exceptional movement: the VOP318 parallel-mounted double-barrel automatic caliber, developed exclusively by Télôs (La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) for TAOS. Entirely hand-engraved by the master engravers at the Atelier Olivier Vaucher in Geneva, this caliber alone requires nearly a hundred hours of meticulous work for each piece – a feat of craftsmanship as rare as it is demanding.
