From early digital displays to a modern reinterpretation
Twenty years after its launch, Chronoswiss reinvents its iconic model with the Neo Digiteur, a contemporary tribute to the original Digiteur created by Gerd-Rüdiger Lang in the early 2000s.
Inspired by the mechanical watches with digital displays of the 1920s and 1930s — those famous watches without hands where the jumping hour and digital minutes embodied modernity — the Neo Digiteur perpetuates this tradition of audacity and horological ingenuity.
First presented in 2005, the Chronoswiss Digiteur was already shaking things up: a mechanical watch, without hands, housed in a custom-made rectangular case, powered by a historic Fleurier movement, produced in only 999 pieces in precious metals.
Today, the Neo Digiteur revives this avant-garde spirit. Thinner, sharper and technically redesigned, it embodies Chronoswiss's vision: to combine watchmaking heritage and mechanical modernity in a piece with a unique and timeless design.
