A modern Disco Volante housed in a 38 mm case, powered by the Peseux 7001 hand-wound mechanical movement, reinterpreted in Geneva with hand-beveled bridges.
At just 2.5 mm thick, the 7001 caliber was the ideal choice for this project, respecting the watchmakers' commitment to preserving the finesse of the first model. Its compact dimensions fit perfectly into the new 38 mm case, resulting in a hand-wound watch that revives the Art Deco aesthetic. The design draws inspiration from the codes of the 1930s to 1950s while adopting an intermediate diameter for a contemporary look.
Furlan Marri has meticulously redesigned the movement's bridges, incorporating hand-polished, diamond-cut edges. The crown wheel and screws are black-polished, with chamfers around the stones. All chamfering is done by hand in Geneva (Meyrin, Switzerland), under the watchful eye of Sébastien Rousseau, Furlan Marri's technical director.
