In honor of International Poetry Day, Thursday, March 21, 2024, we've partnered with artist Romaric, better known as seconde/seconde/, to unveil our latest model.
At BUCI, our vision is to poeticize time, and this collaboration with seconde/seconde/ fits perfectly with this perspective. By exploring the question "What is poetry?", which has always been at the heart of our universe, we found in the artist an ideal partner to bring this vision to life.
Romaric then sets out to explore the dark and merciless facets of poetry, resulting in two unique creations: a pad print on the sapphire background, illustrating his definition of poetry - "Poetry: a combat sport where a daring soul fights fiercely against a blank page", and a unique signature on the textured dial that evokes paper.
This piece embodies the very essence of second/second/ poetry, a supreme art form where both paper and poet bleed simultaneously.
