Xavier Rousset, a native of Besançon and grandson of the founder of the Fraporlux dial company, draws his roots from the rich watchmaking heritage of the Jura Arc.

A graduate in micromechanics, he furthered his training in Switzerland before realizing his dream: creating his own brand, XRby. Passionate about the dial, which he considers a true artisanal masterpiece, he values traditional crafts such as engraving, gem-setting, and enameling.

Each XRby creation is developed in collaboration with expert craftsmen, perpetuating ancestral techniques to offer unique watches, combining art and watchmaking know-how.

Through this approach, XRby celebrates timeless beauty and artisanal excellence, while infusing a modernity that respects traditions.
