Tan Zehua, an official member of the AHCI, was born in 1953 into a family of watchmakers in China. He began learning watchmaking at the age of 13 and has dedicated himself to the research, design, and manufacture of watches for nearly sixty years.

His expertise focuses on core movement development and movement polishing technology.

Most importantly, many achievements have been made in the field of stable and long-term energy transmission of the watch movement, as well as in new escapement systems.
