Pragma was founded by Kai Hsuan Liu and Christopher Wegener, two people passionate about watchmaking and responsible innovation.

Kai, originally from Taiwan, created his first mechanical watch in 2014, which led him to ECAL in Switzerland, where he met Christopher. Christopher, who had been introduced to watchmaking as a teenager, joined Kai after a difficult start in the industry.

Together, they have spent years testing and pushing the boundaries of independent watchmaking. Pragma embodies their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and transparency, aiming to redefine the making and perception of watches.
