The history of the watchmaker
John-Mikaël Flaux, a French watchmaker born in 1990, blends tradition and innovation through audacious mechanical creations.
After excellent training, culminating in a gold medal at the “Meilleurs Apprentis de France” (Best Apprentices of France) competition, and five years at Ulysse Nardin, he founded his own workshop in 2018. Specializing in mechanical art, he distinguishes himself with pieces such as La Guêpe, Time Fury P18, Le Guépard, and Homage to Al Jazari.
A member of the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI), he transforms watchmaking into a form of artistic expression, where each creation becomes an object of emotion and fascination.
His horological universe, halfway between kinetic sculpture and precision mechanics, embodies a free, poetic, and resolutely contemporary vision of time.
